Our finest-quality pin. Cloisonné-B is a modern process based on ancient metalworking techniques that date back to China’s Ming Dynasty. A die of the artwork is produced and stamped into metal. Thin strips of metal separate each of the hard enamel colors of the design. Most of the 17 steps in this process are done by hand. The result is a vivid, hard enamel, best suited to simpler designs with prominently featured colors.
