Look who the Promotional Products Industry voted Best Boss of the year for 2017!
C. Sanders Emblems, the San Fernando-based advertising specialty company, is pleased to announce that the promotional-product industry magazine PPB has named C. Sanders Emblems President Penny Ledbetter one of the industry’s best bosses of 2017.
The announcement comes as C. Sanders Emblems marks 60 years in business as one of the nation’s largest sellers of custom-made lapel pins. Ms. Ledbetter bought the company in 2007.
“It’s a tremendous honor, not to mention a surprise, and I’m especially excited about the publicity this award will bring to the company as a whole,” Ledbetter said. “I’m grateful to my employees for their hard work and support, and I’m all the more energized to make big things happen for a truly wonderful company.”
PPB has issued its annual list of managerial standouts each year since 2010. This year, the editors received over 90 reader nominations and selected 14 individuals for the distinction based on their “ability to create a great work environment, manage by empowerment, mentor their employees and make coming to work a joy.”
PPB is published monthly by Promotional Products Association International, a nonprofit organization representing over 10,000 member companies. The magazine’s 2017 Best Bosses list will be published in its forthcoming October issue.
